I remember back in the day when I first discovered email. It was the first semester I was away at college...so the fall of '94. I remember my friend Bob and I would go to the library and post on message boards on the school system and we began going to chat rooms through Gopher (wow that just seems like a million years ago) and we checked out a foriegn concept something called Mosaic. There wasn't a ton out there when you did searches (well nothing like now...) but it was still cool! Well after a time I became pretty tired of chat rooms and stuff. I mostly just began surfing the web and posting on message boards that were mostly posted on by my friends. I wasn't really interested in meeting people who I didn't know. Last spring I began talking to a few people interested in Beanie Babies and surfing beanie web sites. It was nice I met a few nice people. And at the same time I began to take up a old hobby I had when I was a teen...Pen palling. And at some point around Sept I happened upon some great mailing lists. Which brings me to my current internet "thing"! I've discovered that I was missing out on some really good and sincere friendships. So now I'm finally making my home here!
